We have prepared some practical tips and tricks useful when working with roses.

We tell you how to care for your roses

In trade

  • Store at a temperature of 2-5ºC
  • Humidity during storage should not exceed 90%
  • Store and transport roses placed in water
  • Use clean containers
  • Do not transport together with fruits - this may damage the roses

At Home

  • Put the roses in water immediately after purchasing them
  • Use clean vases and water with cut flower food
  • Cut off the ends of the stems at an angle - about 4-5 cm. Also in bouquets
  • If the leaves in the vase are under water, cut them off
  • Never scrape the skin of the stems as this leads to increased bacterial growth

Frequently asked questions

Are the roses from your garden more durable and of better quality than imported ones? Why?

Yes, because they are fresh, produced in modern climate-controlled greenhouses and biologically protected. Thanks to the efficient management of logistics processes in our company, the delivery time from the moment of cutting the flowers to the final recipient is significantly shortened, so that he can enjoy the beauty of our roses for as long as possible.

Can we buy them all year round?

Yes, because in the autumn and winter the entire production is illuminated.

How many varieties of roses are grown in your greenhouses?

Currently, there are 27 varieties, but this number changes over time.

Do all varieties have thorns?

Some varieties of roses have a large number of thorns on their stems, others have much fewer or practically none at all. This is a varietal feature.

What is biological protection?

It involves regular inspection of the crop for the presence of pests, such as: greenhouse whitefly, spider mite, thrips, aphids and pathogenic fungi. Then, entomophages are delivered, i.e. natural predators of pests in the form of insects, mites and beneficial fungi that inhabit the plantation.

Are chemical plant protection products used on the farm?

Thanks to the biological protection used, the amount of chemicals used is reduced to a minimum, which significantly improves the quality of flowers

What is climate control and what does it involve?

Climate control is the management of plant growth processes in greenhouses, including: automatic regulation of heating and airing temperatures, control of the plant irrigation system, regulation of energy and shading curtains, control of lighting in the greenhouse, air circulation and CO2 levels, as well as the humidity level through the system fogging.

Why is the greenhouse covered with diffusion glass?

Because this glass scatters sunlight that passes through it, more light reaches the plants that use it in the photosynthesis process.
